🌌 Where You Are, When You Act: The Blueprint for Achievement

The Surprising Impact of Where & When

Hello dear Readers 👋👋,

Welcome to this Week’s newsletter.

"Location has energy; time has memory. If you do something at the same time every day, it becomes easier and natural." - Jay Shetty

When I stumbled upon this quote when watching Jay Shetty’s Video.

It had me thinking all day, how am I utilizing my space (Location) and Time to achieve my goals?

Let’s Dive into it !

Embrace Your Starting Point

Let's kick things off by acknowledging where you are right now.

It's not about where you wish you were, but about embracing your reality.

We're all on this path together, and it's time to accept where we stand.

We struggle to workout during the day but somehow;

We always get hungry at the same time every day.

We feel tired at the same time every day.

We have that sweet urge at the same time every day.

How does that Happen?

Well, we tend to have our meals at specific times of the day but when it’s time to get productive, fit, or improve our skills, we leave it all to fate.

Often we do it all in one place, whether it’s entertainment, rest, work, or eating.

For e.g. let’s look at the definition of a bedroom.

bed·room : a room furnished with a bed and intended primarily for sleeping

And yet….. we’re guilty of doing it all in this special room 😜

For most of us, unfortunately, we sabotage this rest sanctuary by bringing in your Office Work, your Problems, and the World (Your Phone).

Assigning A Location & Time to Your Activities

The Benefits

Ever wondered why some days seem to effortlessly fall into place while others leave you feeling like you're chasing your own tail?

Let's dive into a little secret that can turn the tide in your favor: assigning a specific time and location to your objectives.

Precision & Tunnel Vision Focus

Imagine this: instead of saying, "I'll exercise sometime this week," you decide to crush a workout at 7 AM right in your living room.

Bam! That's precision in action.

It transforms vague intentions into clear-cut plans, firing up your determination to actually do it.

Picture this: you've set aside a specific time and space for a task.

It's like creating a no-distraction zone.

No multitasking, no wandering thoughts. Just you and your objective.

The result? A level of focus that could rival a laser beam.

Habit Heaven

Our brains adore patterns.

It's like they're programmed for it.

And when you repeatedly assign a specific time and location to your objectives, you're basically telling your brain, "Hey, this is important."

It becomes a natural part of your routine, making it easier to slip into productivity mode.

Bye-Bye Stress

Uncertainty is a stress magnet.

Not knowing when to fit in that workout or when to dive into that project?

Stress-o-rama.

But when you assign a time and place, the fog clears.

Stress levels drop, and suddenly, your day feels way more manageable.
